We are thrilled to announce some fantastic news here at Scissortrix! Please join us in welcoming our newest team member, Rosie, to the salon family. Rosie brings a wealth of experience and a passion for all things hair, making her an exciting addition to our talented team. Rosie has been in the hair industry for nearly five years and has a genuine love for her craft. She’s particularly skilled in creating beautiful balayage looks, whether you're going for stunning blonde highlights or rich brunette tones. If you’re looking for something more vibrant, Rosie also loves doing vivid color work to help you express your unique style. And if a sharp, stylish bob is more your speed, you’re in for a treat—Rosie’s precision cuts are sure to impress! Having recently relocated to Christchurch from Palmerston North in the North Island, Rosie is already settling in and making Christchurch her home. She’s embracing the change in scenery and even getting used to the cooler weather! Outside of the salon, Rosie loves to socialize with friends and explore her new surroundings. She enjoys attending concerts, gigs, and festivals, and is always up for an adventure, whether it’s 4-wheel driving or discovering new places. Here’s what Rosie has to say: “Hello! Welcome Baby Riley Rebecca Waghorn to the Scissortrix Family!

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Scissortrix family, Riley Rebecca Waghorn! Georgia’s beautiful little girl made an early entrance into the world, arriving 5 weeks ahead of her due date. Despite the surprise of an early arrival, both Georgia and Riley are doing wonderfully. After spending a few days in the hospital to ensure she was strong and healthy, Riley is now happily settled at home, bringing endless joy to her family and friends. At Scissortrix, we’ve been lucky enough to meet baby Riley during a few visits to the salon. She’s been nothing short of perfect – a sleepy little bundle of joy who has captured all our hearts. Georgia, one of our talented stylists, is absolutely thriving in her new role as a mom. It's heartwarming to see her so happy and to witness the love and care she pours into her new journey.  We’re overjoyed to welcome Riley to the Scissortrix family and can’t wait to see her grow.
